To celebrate this incredible news, Auchan hosted a huge in-store event at their Paris location on Boulevard Robert Ballanger. As Auchan’s first cosmetic brand launch event, there were plenty of exciting activities for customers to participate in including mini makeovers and prize raffles.
French beauty influencers and Instagram stars, including @iamdeborahpower, @naobabe9, @mounir_kidadi, and @arbiakidadi, attended for a special meet and greet session with Parisian fans and shoppers. Customers also had the opportunity to take selfies with the celebrities in the photo booth area, test out products, and purchase the best that L.A. Girl has to offer. Hundreds of customers lined up to participate in the excitement of L.A. Girl Cosmetics at Auchan.

With much excitement and long awaited anticipation, L.A. Girl Cosmetics has made its way to France! To celebrate this momentous occasion, the brand rolled out the red carpet for a huge launch event at the L.A. Girl France Showroom located in the heart of Paris.
The showroom has the entire L.A. Girl Cosmetics collection on display with product testers that allow customers to fully experience every item. In addition, knowledgeable makeup artists are on staff to assist with any questions and to provide a hands-on shopping experience. The showroom also offers makeup application services for those seeking the signature L.A. Girl look as well master classes to teach local beauty enthusiasts professional makeup application techniques.
The high profile event was covered by Public, a French entertainment media outlet, and was attended by celebrities and local beauty bloggers including French TV personality, Ayem Nour, Miss Universe contestant, Malika Ménard , and model and social media influencer, Eve Pamba, to name a few. Fans of the brand were also able to get in on the action with an interactive experience which included free L.A. Girl makeovers and the opportunity to shop the entire line. The event closed with an exclusive cocktail hour for special guests and celebrities to party with the brand in style.

L.A. Girl’s Matte Lipstick Spotted at Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week is one of the most high profile events in the world. What’s seen on and off the runway will dictate upcoming trends whether it’s clothes, accessories, hair, or beauty. There was one beauty look in particular that stood out at the H&M Spring 2017 Runway Show causing beauty editors to scramble to find out what amazing matte lipstick the models were wearing.
It has since been revealed that makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo discovered our Matte Velvet Lipstick collection at a beauty supply store in Paris. Taking two vibrant shades, Manic and Love Triangle, he chopped the products and mixed them in a plastic makeup pot to create a universally flattering fuschia-purple shade which he applied on every model that was sent down the runway during H&M’s spring 2017 show.
